La pieza pone en contrapunto dos maneras de comunicación: los emoticones y la escritura tradicional. Aquí se busca un contraste inevitable entre la estandarización de los sentimientos de los emojis, y las florituras excesivas de textos posiblemente ya de otros tiempos.
En Termi-task se toma como analogía la tarea de las termitas -carcomas y otros insectos- de alimentarse e ir destruyendo no solo vigas y muebles, sino también cantidad de libros viejos mal conservados. En el inicio de la obra, la aparición en la pantalla de alguna página tomada de la Net, de un texto antiguo, o de alguna carta escrita a máquina, es el puntapié inicial para que emoticones con el buen animo de simplificar comiencen a roer tanto floreo literario. En una especie de dramatización visual -un tanto caricaturizada- procesos algorítmicos generativos de deconstrucción, sumados a posibles interacciones con el mouse, ponen en escena a una serie de emojis.

The piece puts in counterpoint two ways of communication: the emoticons and the traditional writing. Here we seek an inevitable contrast between the standardization of the feelings of emoji and the excessive flourishes of texts, possibly written in other times.
In Termi-task, the task of termites is taken as analogy. The task of feeding and destroying not only beams and furniture, but also a number of poorly preserved old books. At the beginning of the work, a page taken from the network (from an old text, or from a typewritten letter) appears on the screen. This is the starting point for emoticons - with the good courage to simplify - to start a bite of both literary flourishing.
Generative algorithmic processes of deconstruction, coupled with possible interactions with the mouse, introduce a series of emoji in a kind of caricatured visual dramatization.
